NICU

The Floyd W. Denny Pediatric Society of the University of North Carolina ("Denny Society") was created in 1975 to support the education mission of the UNC pediatric residency program and to facilitate communication among members of the Society. It is named for the Chairman of the UNC Department of Pediatrics from 1960-1981. Membership is open to all graduates of the pediatric and med-peds residency programs at UNC, past and current members of the pediatric faculty, and friends of the Department.

The next Triennial meeting will be held October 17-18, 2008. Charles Homer, MD, MPH will be the Visiting Floyd W. Denny Professor. Dr. Homer is the President and CEO of the National Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality (NICHQ).

Past Events

The last Triennial Meeting of the Society was held on October 14-15, 2005 and was entitled: "Audit on Adolescent Care".
